This double album (plus a bonus cd that conatains 5 new songs) was released in november 1999 and contains the best of Bubbi Morthens from 1980 - 1990. The title, "Sögur", means "Stories".

Released in 1996 it is one of the best selling albums of all time in Iceland.
 
Emiliana Torrini Love In The Time Of ... 1.766,-
Finally a new album from Emiliana Torrini. This is her first album released internationally and on "Love in the Time of Science" she joins up with Roland Orzabal (Tears for Fears) and Clive Deamer (Portishead drummer) among others. Includes the singles "To be free", "Dead things" and "Baby blue".

Here is a new record from the boys in Ensími. The great man Steve Albini (Pixies, Nirvana and Page & Plant) produces five tracks on the album. Ensími was voted Iceland's Best Newcomers in the Icelandic Music Awards in 1998. A great follow up to their last album.

It is save to say that Ensími's debut album, Kafbátamúsík, came like a fresh breeze to Iceland's music genre when it was released in 1998. It got great review by the critics and the puplic alike. A band on their way to the top.
 
Maus Í þessi sekúndubrot sem ... 1.766,-
"Í þessi sekúndubrot sem ég flýt" is Maus' 4th album, released in November 1999. There are 10 songs on this album including "Allt sem þú lest er lygi" (Every written word is a lie) "Strengir" (Strings) and "Kerfisbundin þrá" (How far is too far). Co-Producers on this album were Páll Borg and Daníel Ágúst Haraldsson usually better known as members of GUS GUS.
 
Maus Lof mér að falla að þínu ... 803,-
Lof mér að falla að þínu eyra is Maus' third album. It took 2 years to make and is without a doubt one of the best rock albums ever released in Iceland. It got excellent reviews like this one "Lof mér að falla að þínu eyra is as close to perfect as an album can get" ( Árni Matthíasson, Mbl 16.11.1997) Roger O'Donnel (The Cure´s keybord player) appears as a special guest on 8 of the album's 10 tracks.
 
Mínus Hey Johnny 1.766,-
Here you have the hardest rock/hard-core band in Iceland with their debut album. Mínus have already a large group of followers and their concerts are excellent. Mínus were the winners of "Músíktilraunir Tónabæjar" in 1999. ("Músíktilraunir Tónabæjar" is a competition held every year to support and introduce new and upcoming bands in Iceland.)

The boys in Quarashi are back with their second album, Xeneizes, which outshines everything they have done before. Includes the songs Jivin' About, Stick'em up and Xeneizes. This multimedia disc also contains hidden bonus tracks and a music video of the song Surreal Rhyme. One of last years best cd!

Ágætis byrjun is Sigur Rós' second album and what a masterpiece. Critics have had no words to describe its brilliance. The Face called them for example "the last great band of the century" and from a NME review "....by the time it rumbles to a close, you realise you´ve been holding your breath in awe". Todmobile is one of Iceland´s most important bands of the 1990´s. This is their third album originally released in 1991 to great reviews and massive sales. Look for a compilation of their best songs in the fall of 2000.
